Submitted as my Master’s thesis, "Local Ocean" offers a nuanced portrayal of the challenges faced by seafood producers within the San Diego community. The film delves into the daily lives and labor of these individuals and celebrates the essential role they play in sustaining local traditions and providing fresh, high-quality seafood to the community.
